CGX now own and operate the igrain market for grain stored on-farm
Buyer demand continues to build - There were more examples of buyers lifting bids to meet prices growers had OFFERED grain for sale last week.
33 buyers met grower target prices to purchase 35 grades of wheat, barley, canola, faba beans, lupins and oats in 11 port zones.
CGX and igrain enable growers to offer grain for sale - Growers delivering to warehouse can offer grain for sale on CGX. Growers with grain on-farm can offer grain for sale on igrain and determine pickup/delivery timeframes.
When your grain is offered for sale on CGX all buyers can see it and try to purchase it.

Buyer demand builds
Demand for Australian grain continues to build.
Growers have been active in OFFERING their grain for sale, and in doing so showing buyers the prices where they are a willing seller.
In some cases over the last month or so, grower offer prices have been higher than what buyers have been willing to bid.
Recently, buyers have been more active in responding to grower price expectations and pushing their bids higher to match offers and purchase grain.
33 buyers purchased 35 grades of wheat, barley, canola, faba beans, lupins and oats on CGX last week, with many more buyers searching offers but unable to find grain offered at a price they were willing to bid.
Strong demand for high protein wheat was evident with H2 trading at $420/t Kwinana, $405/t Esperance, $400/t Albany and $385/t Port Adelaide as examples. H1 traded $442/t Melbourne port zone, $440/t Portland, $430/t Kwinana, $420/t Geraldton and $415/t Esperance.
Lower grade wheat is also being bid with ASW1 trading $400/t Kwinana, $388 Albany, $360/t Port Adelaide, $357/t Port Kembla, $335/t Portland and $330/t Melbourne.
Stock feed wheat was trading $340/t Port Adelaide, $338/t Port Giles and $330/t Portland while red wheat traded $318/t in Geelong.
Canola bids pushed higher across the southern export states, with CANO EU trading up to $637/t in Port Adelaide, while CAG1 traded $670/t Kwinana and Albany port zones and $650/t Geraldton. CAG2 also traded $670/t in Kwinana.
Barley prices moved higher as buyers matched offers for feed barley at $346/t in Kwinana and $320/t Port Adelaide and Melbourne.
Without grain offered by sellers we may never have known that buyers were willing to pay these prices for grain.
The amount of grain to be exported and consumed domestically this year has not yet been bought from growers and buyers are actively searching the market to fill their requirements.
