Look Out!

  • Overseas markets were up again on Friday night.

  • But if you are in Australia, it’s a different story.

  • Australian grain prices are getting smashed beyond belief.

  • Anyone would think we have a 31 million tonne wheat crop coming and no global demand at all.

  • But Australia is an exporter, and our prices are driven by export values.

  • So, given the decline in our markets, one would assume world markets are all tanking as well?

  • The US Soft Red winter wheat export price is up USD $10 over the week,

quoted at USD $232 FOB (Free on Board) for October.
