Buyers were actively placing bids on grain offered for sale at prices they could make work and often matching price targets set by growers.
In addition to the 53 buyers that bought grain through the exchange last week, there were another 57Â buyers searching for grain on the exchange.
In total, buyers conducted more than 10,000 searches for grain on CGX just last week.
Appetite for Australian grain has continued to improve over the past month with crop conditions and crop sizes in the northern hemisphere remaining uncertain.
If you have grain in warehouse, be sure to offer it at the price you want on CGXÂ (or if your grain is stored on-farm, use igrain!).
Put your price on your grain and let ALL BUYERS see it and try to buy it. Â
There's no downside. Growers are protected at all times on CGX by remaining completely anonymous and retaining title of their grain until paid with CGX's secure settlement.
Growers are impacting demand and prices directly by actively offering their grain for sale at the price they will sell it for.
