Growers have pricing power
Many growers continued to achieve their target prices through last week as buyers actively search for grain offered for sale.
Price differences remain high for the same grade between port zones as buyers assess the quality and search for what they need to fulfil commitments.
The price differences are also reflective of the prices growers in the port zones are willing to sell for.
Growers have a say in what prices grain trades at. You can ask for a price. We're confident the most efficient way to do this is by offering grain for sale at the price you want on Clear Grain Exchange.
All buyers can see your grain and try to buy it. You're anonymous and protected by secure settlement if it sells. Plus it costs nothing to have your grain on offer! You can edit it at anytime before it sells.
If you have grain in warehouse, make sure you offer it - no matter where it is, what grade it is, or what price you want for it (even if it is much higher than current values).
Just get it on offer. There's only upside if you use it correctly. Often grain is trading at prices you wouldn't have otherwise known was available.
Create demand for your grain. Don't just watch published bids and then sell into them. Show the offer side of the market.
Australian grain is in demand - let's try and get full value for it!
