International grain markets remain flat under pressure from advancing winter harvest and strong summer crop growing conditions.
It’s tough going in domestic grain markets particularly in the north with sales difficult to get away. Trade knows that there are old crop stocks left in northern zones and that a massive nth NSW/QLD winter crop is on the way. In the south, the crop is still in the balance for the VIC Mallee, SA mid-north, Riverlands and SA Mallee and Murraylands which is helping although crop prospects are improving through Riverina and most of VIC.
