Look Out!

  • I have some good news and some bad news.

  • Give me the bad news first Dom.

  • The markets got smacked last night.

  • OK, I can handle that. Now what’s the good news.

  • The USDA just dropped their Indian wheat crop by 5 million to 108 million tonnes.

  • Yep, a smaller wheat crop in “Get It India” should see them drop that import tariff and open up for imports.

  • This would suck another few million tonnes off the exporter balance sheet and tightens up major exporter stocks.

  • Anyway, short and sharp today as I am at the Australian Grain International Conference (AGIC), learning all about the world grain markets.
