Grain Report Thursday - 05th October
What price do you want for your grain?
Overnight moves in international markets and yesterday's actual traded prices across Australia are below to help you determine your price. If you need to change your offer price, simply edit it before market open.
Look Out!
Well, the market run is finally over, after 1 day of buying.
Wheat and corn off and beans basically unchanged.
Canola continues to slide with Winnipeg and Matif both off.
US Crude oil has come off USD $10 a barrel since last week, now USD $84 per barrel.
I bet we don’t see that at the bowser for another month, as the fuel price watchdog will say it’s cyclic.
Always amused by that; it's cyclic when world prices fall, but it’s not cyclic on long weekends or when world prices rise.
Oilseeds are linked to oil prices, however more recently they have a strong correlation to Soybean prices as well.
