Reports China and Russia have signed some agreement to supply 70 million tonnes of grains over 12 years.

China’s September wheat imports were 620,000 tonnes, which is up 54% year to date. Their barley imports for September were 1.03 million tonnes, which is also up 64% year to date.
They are also getting hit with heavy rains in the major wheat regions which could impact on sowing.
